COC Chapter 1977-1980
After the abruption of the XU Chapter in 1976, Cagayan de Oro College took place as an Interim chapter in 1977 until it was established formally as an organizational chapter in 1979
For three years since 1977, three members, Jose Bagarinao, Angelito Jim Jimenez, and Fredeswindo Jadoc, were known buddies who would rendezvous in the COC campus and nearby hideout in Carmen to socialize and get together. Branding the Cagayan de Oro College, where they enrolled, they affirmed themselves as members of the Interim Chapter, though it’s been too long since they remained with no extra member appearing to associate; where are the Kappans? They did not lose hope of finding any other Kappans until, in 1979, they finally found more members to join their club and formally organized the Cagayan de Oro College Chapter. From 1979 to 1980, 6 recruitment batches were conducted, and more than 50 members were produced. However, more missing photos of members are still to be retrieved from this gallery and included in the profile list.

CCC Chapter 1980
Expansion has extended to CCC, where it ‘conquered’ the Lapasan district to recruit more members.
Sanctioned by Raul Sabuero, a product of the COC chapter in 1979, they organized CCC with Ramil Ashmir Antonio, a 1978 member from San Isidro College, Malaybalay City. The duo transferred their enrollment to pursue their engineering course, where they established the chapter with recruits mostly from the Lapasan district. Successful initiations were conducted and produced more members than the COC Chapter had in 1981. Eventually, the CCC Chapter became another stronghold of Gamma Kappa Phi in Cagayan de Oro.

XU Chapter 1981
The revival members after the Xavier University Chapter’s abruption in 1976
Xavier University became stagnant as a chapter after ceasing its recruitment in 1976. Finally, in 1981, the Xavier University Chapter was reorganized. In the same year when it was revived, there were 3 batches of initiation conducted and produced more than 30 members. This gallery has missing photos of some Renaissance members or First Batch members. Benjamin Nunag, Pitoy Cagatin, Rolando Mirante, and Roque Salcedo are the second Batch not shown.
