About

Legendary organizers & pioneers

Gamma Kappa Phi as a whole organization was not free from certain issues of its history and organizational concerns that adversely affected it towards achieving its objectives. The Brotherhood, Service, and Honor tenets are in the “mainstream” way of thinking between members. Gamma Kappa Phi cannot exist for long and in harmony as one united organization when the members are divided on certain issues, and the division is caused by different mindsets and personal values, which are seemingly irreconcilable among members.

Nevertheless, there is no better way to withstand this divergence than to promote camaraderie and social connection to preserve the meaning of this organization. Legendary organizers and pioneers of Cagayan de Oro were born as a Gamma Kappa Phi to maintain a glimpse of the beginning of intimacy enjoyed in their past generation. Because we meld and unitedly as sovereign members and advocates for a ‘One Gamma Kappa Phi Principle’ from what we have recognized since the beginning of our existence.

The achievers

In 1977, Cagayan de Oro College (COC) was started as an Interim Chapter and was responsible for saving the end of Gamma Kappa Phi’s existence in the Cagayan de Oro School Campus. Definitely, In 1979, it was formally established as an organizational chapter. This was credited to the organizers who acted painstakingly in re-establishing the fraternity’s abruption at Xavier University in 1976. Their accomplishment was a breakthrough in the revival and expansion of the present generation’s so called EPSILON Chapters.
